After 98 years of operating as the oldest, german club in Southern Africa, the Schützenhaus was privatised and renovated into a european style guesthouse. Situated in the quiet Pastorie street in Keetmanshoop, this guesthouse is ideal for relaxing after a long trip as well as exploring the surroundings and visiting all places of interest, such as the Fish River Canyon, the Giant’s playground and many more. Upon request, day tours are also arranged. Luxury rooms for disabled. Self-catering & Backpacker rooms.

Das Schützenhaus ist der älteste deutsche Klub im südlichen Afrika und wurde nun nach 98 Jahren aufgegeben, privatisiert und in ein Gästehaus im europäischen Stil umgebaut. Gelegen in der ruhigen Pastorie Straße in Keetmanshoop, ist das Gästhaus ein wahrer Erholungsort für jeden Reisenden und Ausgangspunkt wenn Sie dieUmgebung und Sehenswürdigkeiten in dieser Gegend besuchen wollen z.B. den Fossilien Weg, Fish River Canyon, den Köcherbaum Wald und den Spielplatz der Riesen. Tagestouren werden auch bei Nachfrage unternommen.
